Building Update
The frame for the roof over the existing basketball court has been installed today. We have also improved the safety of the temporary fencing by addressing the uneven ground beneath it, ensuring it is properly blocked to prevent any student access.

Cross Country
Our school Cross Country event will take place on Friday, 9 May, between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.  Parents are warmly invited to attend from 9:00 am. Due to the course setup, we ask parents to view the races from the playground area behind the bunting.

Students are encouraged to dress in their house colours and complete the course independently.

All participating students will earn points for their house. Students who are unable to run can assist on the day by helping with marshalling, course supervision, and lap counting.

We are pleased to have Steam and Brew (mobile coffee van) onsite for visitors, offering hot and cold beverages in the undercover area. Please note that purchases are available for adults/visitors only, not for students.

Cross Country Timetable (approximate times):

• 9:10 am: 12/13-Year-Old Boys and Girls (3 km)

• 9:35 am: 11-Year-Old Boys and Girls (3 km)

• 9:55 am: 9/10-Year-Old Boys and Girls (2 km)

• 10:15 am: Grade 2 Boys and Girls (1 km)

• 10:30 am: Grade 1 Boys and Girls (500 m)

• 10:40 am: Foundation Girls (500 m)

• 10:50 am: Foundation Boys (500 m)

• 11:00 am: Presentation

Parents and Friends Meeting
The next Parents and Friends (P&F) meeting will be held in the staffroom, starting at 9:00 am. Please note that we may need to relocate partway through, as the performing arts room is in use and the wall between the rooms has been removed. If required, we will move upstairs to a Grade 3/4 classroom temporarily vacated for specialist lessons.

Mother’s Day
Our Mother's Day Stall will also be held on Friday, 9 May, from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm.  Students who have pre-purchased a Mother's Day gift via Flexischools will collect their gifts when their class is called to visit the stall. P&F helpers will ensure a variety of gifts remain available for all students throughout the day.

All gifts are priced at $5, with students able to purchase a maximum of two gifts each.
