Principal's Welcome
Dear Parents,
What a great announcement we received today that our students will able to come back to school tomorrow, news that I am certain is music to the ears for many families.
In my last newsletter, I announced the four expectations that had been chosen to form our Whole School Approach to Positive Behaviour (Inclusive, Safe, Persistent and Respectful). I want to acknowledge the persistence of our whole school community over the lockdown period. Our parents and students for their teaching and learning efforts at home. Our teachers who again worked extremely hard to provide remote learning opportunities for our students whilst also working at home with their young families. Your efforts are valued and appreciated.
With the announcement today, we are still waiting on advice from Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL) in regard to permitted school activities such as assemblies, school events, tours, parents on-site etc. Once we receive notification we will send this advice out to you. In the meantime, no parents, will be allowed onsite except if you need to visit the school office. Density limits of two visitors at any one time apply and all visitors must check in using the QR codes provided.
Visitors including parents, guardians and contractors will be required to wear a face mask when on school site, both indoor and outdoor, including reception and classrooms, unless an exception applies. Teaching staff are not required to wear a face mask when teaching and providing direct support to students.
To make sure we keep our community safe we expect all parents to follow the school and government restrictions. Please refrain from mass gatherings outside of the school during pick up and drop off times and ensure you are maintaining the required social distance. The car line will be used each morning and afternoon, this is not a parking bay. If you are utilising the car line in the afternoon please remain at your car, staff will walk students over and manage the dismissal of students/families one car at a time.
Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!
