Inaugural House Athletics Carnival
On Monday 29th March, the inaugural House Athletics Carnival took place on the school oval. On a cool Autumn morning, there was a great turn out of family who were present to support the students. The children's attitude, participation, endeavour and school spirit was very impressive throughout the event and was witnessed by all in attendance. The hard work put in by the kids during Physical Education lessons was evident and some wonderful running, throwing and jumping was displayed in a variety of events. A big congratulations to all the participants and a very big thank you to all the staff and parents who supported this event.
During Term 2, students will be exposed to some continuous running and will have the opportunity to participate in a House Cross Country Carnival. More details will be provided in the coming weeks.
