Principals Message

Dear Parents & Guardians,

Parent Teacher Interviews will be held after school on Monday 17th & Tuesday 18th June.

The Parent Teacher Interviews will be held on-site at school, please sign in using the QR code system on arrival.

There will be waiting areas set up in the junior (Foundation-Grade 2) and senior (Grade 3-6) school sections for families to wait before being collected by a staff member. Parents can proceed directly to the specified waiting areas mentioned below;

These interviews will be 20 minutes in duration and students are requested to attend the interview to share their learning goals with you.

Once your child has finished sharing their learning goals with you, they can proceed to the Art Room (located in the new building), where staff will supervise them while the remainder of the interview is completed.

These interviews are vitally important as they provide you with the opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher and:

  • Discuss your child’s progress.
  • Set learning goals for your child.
  • Share your child’s strengths and needs.
  • Discuss behaviour and social wellbeing.

Reconciliation Week
Now_more_than_ever.jpg

This week is National Reconciliation Week. The theme for 2024, “Now More Than Ever”, is a reminder to all of us that no matter what, the fight for justice and the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people will — and must — continue.

To celebrate and recognise National Reconciliation Week in our school all grades will make their own child friendly versions of an Acknowledgement of Country like the one above.
